Stats and Privacy Choices in the Hub

How to control whether your child's stats and photos are shared with the team

Last updated: 2026-07-12

Stats and Privacy Choices

You're always in control of what's shared about your child. SquadTracker asks for your choices up front, and you can change them whenever you like — your coach can see your settings but can never change them for you.

What you'll learn

  • The two privacy switches and what each one covers

  • Where to update your choices after the first time

  • What you can always see, whatever your settings are

  • What your coach can and can't see or change
  • Quick Steps

  • Look out for the first-visit prompt — When you first open the Hub you'll see "Choices for {your child's name}" with two switches to decide on.

  • Choose Share stats with the team — When on, your child appears on team leaderboards that other families in the squad can see (goals, assists, appearances and so on).

  • Choose Allow social sharing — When on, your child may appear in team photos, individual award photos, match footage, and with their full name on match result graphics. If it's off, only initials are ever shown.

  • Press Save choices* — Or press *Not now if you'd rather decide later — you won't lose access to the Hub either way.

  • Update any time* — Go to *Account → Privacy to switch either setting on or off whenever you want.

What you can always see

Whatever your privacy settings are, you'll always see your own child's full stats in the Hub. The switches only control what other families can see about your child — not what you can see yourself.

What your coach sees

Your coach can see whether stats sharing and social sharing are switched on or off for each player, so they know who can appear in team posts and leaderboards. They cannot turn these on or off themselves — that choice always stays with the parent or the player (if 16 or over).

One family, one choice per child

If you have more than one child on a team, each player has their own privacy settings, so you can share stats for one and keep another private.
