Squads change over the season — players join, leave, or turn out just once as a guest. SquadTracker gives you two ways to take a player off your active squad, depending on whether you might want them back.

Removing a player (reversible)

Removing a player takes them out of your active squad* but keeps everything about them. In *Team Management open the player's options and choose to remove them.

• They move into the Removed Players list.


• Their match and training history is untouched.


• You can restore them to the active squad at any time — handy for a player who's injured, taking a break, or moving up an age group later in the year.

Permanently deleting a player

For a player who won't be coming back — a one-off guest, or someone leaving for good at season end — you can permanently delete* them from the *Removed Players list.

This is not a full erase of their match data. Instead SquadTracker:

• Removes their personal details — name, photo, shirt number, and any parent or Hub links are cleared.


• Keeps their goals and match records* on past matches, now shown as *"Former player" so your historic results and stats still add up.


• Cannot be undone. A permanently deleted player can't be restored or edited, and they disappear from the Removed Players list for good.

Because their goals stay attached to past matches, your season totals, match reports and league history all stay correct — you just no longer hold that person's personal information.

Which should I use?

• Might they come back? Remove them — they wait in Removed Players until you restore them.


• A one-off guest, or a player who's left for good? Permanently delete them once the season's done. Their contribution to past matches lives on as "Former player", and you're not keeping personal data you no longer need.
